Grand Prix™ of the Netherlands
Experience the pulse of racing up close
The Netherlands Grand Prix™ in Zandvoort is one of the most intense challenges on the current Formula 1®calendar. The traditional dune circuit combines high speeds with extreme banked turns, tight passages and minimal error zones. The track flows like a rollercoaster through the sandy coastal landscape - and demands courage, precision and absolute vehicle control from the drivers.
The steeply banked bends, aggressive racing lines and high track dynamics in particular ensure thrilling duels and a constantly changing balance of power. Every lap is a balancing act between risk and control. When the Formula 1®cars race through the dunes and the fans in orange turn the grandstands into a cauldron, Zandvoort becomes an emotional high-speed spectacle. The Netherlands Grand Prix is modern, raw and electrifying.
History & Tradition
The Dutch Grand Prix™ looks back on a long motorsport tradition and is inextricably linked to Circuit Zandvoort. The race was already part of Formula 1® in the 1950s before making an impressive return to the calendar after a long break. The character of the circuit remained the same: demanding, uncompromising and driver-centered.
Zandvoort combines historic roots with modern racing culture. The return of the Grand Prix has inspired a new generation of fans and given the race a unique identity - loud, passionate and unmistakably Dutch. The Netherlands Grand Prix stands for bridging the gap between past and present and is now one of the most emotional events of the Formula 1 season. Whoever wins here not only triumphs in sporting terms - but also in front of one of the most passionate backdrops in motorsport
