The Skyliners, however, remained focused and defended strongly. In the 37th minute, Klepeisz made it 78:69 with another three-point shot, which ultimately decided the game. Despite a final attempt by Braunschweig, led by Robinson, who reduced the deficit to 84:78 in the final minute, the Fraport Skyliners secured the deserved victory with a final score of 86:80.
